Polaris is not closing on my penthouse 165 2h and not refunding deposit

 Can anyone help me with putting pressures on Polaris to complete a transaction or get my deposit back? I put a 3000 euro deposit and visited the site to inspect before completing purchase. There was a terrible smell because of the lake problems (they had not started filling it yet) and I demanded to close after they started filling the lake to make sure that was the reason for the smell. They refused to postpone the closing after our initial agreed upon date. And to top it all they refuse to return my deposit. I'd like to close but now I have a bad taste in my mouth from Polaris - besides the bad smell in my apartment.! Please help!!!

 I think they are trying to use any excuse not to close because they are now offering similar units at 88,000 euro and I contracted to buy at 69,000 euro.

 My solicitor is trying and is now sending a letter called a Burofax. It is like a demand letter. But she also suggested i make some noise to owners who can file complaints on my behalf. Just stirring up the pot. what they are doing shows they have no regards to owners and buyers and only care about the final extra euro they can earn. when offer prices rose they canceled my reduced contract and tried to put the blame on me. and they aren't even returning the deposit.

Hi Folks I have not been on in awhile but was one of the people who did get my deposit back probs about 5 years ago now. I sent a couple of bureau faxes but like you did not receive a response. I went over to Polaris and filled out a Hoja De Reclaimation which seemed to be more successful. It is a 3 part form and you fill it out in the PW office they keep 1 copy you take 2 copies and then register 1 at the town hall.  I also worked with Maria del Castro the solicitor who is often on this site.
