Hi it is also a good idea to rent an apartment in the resort to give you a feel for it that is what we did. We only rent to friends and family but if you ask on this forum there should be some who do

There is a great community spririt I wouldnt let the lack of ammenities at this point put you off - we are on las isla and we have had a great few get togethers with neighbours etc. Yes you need a car but there are restaurants that will pick you up by minibus from your front door and bring you back again. It all really depends on what you want facilities wise.

Hi any advice on transferring monies from uk to spanish bank account currently with Barclays who charge us £16 for transaction up to £1000 then inflates from there - would even appreciate ideas on another bank we could use in Spain that don't charge arm and keg to set up and also allow our lawyers to access our account
