Window and Patio Door Security

 The Hardware shop in Camposol A sells a locking pin that fixes windows together in the middle costs 8-9€ need to drill a hole throught the inner door and half outer door frame in middle and a small braket is fixed inside to hold the window. When pin is fitted it is very difficult to jack them open?

Mick, would this locking pin also do the same job in the small windows in the kitchen area of the Penthouses where there are no shutters? Similar principle to the patio doors as this is a vulnerable spot on an otherwise pretty secure property. JF

 Yes they will secure any sliding window Patio and smaller windows in Apartments not sure how Penthouse ones are constructed but I assume a smaller version of the others?

Instructions for fitting are on the bos just need a drill and an 8mm bit ( Sharp) a smaller drill 3/4 mm for screws and a screwdriver.

 Gabe if you fit the window bolts and you lock yourself out don't knock my door unless you want to borrow a 2Lb hammer to smash window.

You will be lucky if i am in? even my freinds cant catch me?

On a serious note if you have the window bolts fitted and do lock yourself out it will be a big problem the locksmiths want big  money by credit card before they come out? 

You really need to have another key in a place yopu can access 24/7 if needs be??

Touch wood I've never got locked out yet, but on the other hand my better half has other ideas at times when I do my disappearing acts and roll back into the apartment in the wee small hours and she's locked me out for some strange reason!!
