Getting the train from Alhama station

Hi All

We are planning a trip to Valencia for a few days. I saw on one of the threads about going to Murcia that you need to buy tickets on the train from Alhama. Does that mean there is no ticket office? Also, presumably you can also buy tickets for longer journeys (ie not just to Murcia) once you are on the actual train?

 Train Office closed and you buy tickets on train , so if you need advance go on line . Leaves 11 mins past the hour to Murcia

Penny,no tickets at the station as ticket office shut.

Buy a return to Murcia for 4e return "ida y vuelta"..

In Murcia there are ticket booths and one for info,some English spoken.

As below leaves at 11 minutes past the hour,returns 15 minutes to the hour.

 Thanks everyone. We'll aim to get tickets on the train then. There is a straight-through train from Alhama to Valencia leaving just before 9am so we're intending to catch that one.

Sounds like the Talgo  which goes all the way to Barcelona
