white grills

Hi

I have just purchased a 3 bed quad in r5., I have noticed that there are round white grills in the walls of all the rooms , at first I thought they looked like air vents ? but there is no outside section does any body have any idea what they are.

Hi Ian and welcome to Playa Golf.  I think they are air vents but am not sure how they work - sorry!

There hasn´t been much traffic on the Playa Golf pages for a while, so you could try posting your question on the main forum to see if anyone can help you a bit more than me!

The white grills are music speakers. An american firm bought a number of the quads and had them made up to a higher spec. ie. power shower, light grey floor tiles, luxury tiles in kitchen and bathroom. We have been told that you have to buy a system and then connect it up to these spaeakers.We have bought one of these quads but do not know how the speakers work and I have asked around and nobody else seems to know.

If you find out please let me know.

When i was out last in June , I removed one of the grills in the upstairs bedroom , All that was there was the plasric grill and a hole drilled into the air cavity , I have noticed air vents on the outside of the building maybe they are linked ? there was no trace of any pre installed wireing .But if you did hear of a retro fit kit I would be very intrested , hope you are enjoying your villa as much as me and  Lynne
