Mortgage Help

Has anybody got a completion date for block 1 or 2? I have flights booked for the 7 April and was hoping block 2 would be finished by this time.

hi twiggy,  we are  going over 13 th march until 16th to see how things are progressing and also to see our solicitor, we are in mar y sol block 2, i will be asking solicitor for information regarding the completion dates, i will post any news/information when we get back if this helps, i will also post some photos of  the apartments.

              I have just had an e-mail from my solicitor saying Los Palacious Mar will give us a completion date on monday (probably friday then!) so i will let you know when i hear from them. They said it will be after easter.

We have become tired of waiting for news and have decided to go across for just a couple of days to see what's going on.  We realise that our apartment in block 1 won't be finished, but we do want to be sure that we are getting what we expect.  So we are flying out on Sunday 25th and back on 27th March.

So, if anyone would like us to return the many favours that have been done for us and look to see how their apartment is getting on, just let us know and if we can get in we will try to have a look.  We will take some more photographs.

I have just heard from my solicitor that they will be signing for the deeds on friday 23 March (as they have power of attorney) Has anyone else from block 2 been given a date?

Hi all

just got back from formentera del segura , the weather was warm and sunny, we went to Palacios mar office to find out when block 2 would be finished. James  took us  to the site and showed us around the apartments, we could not get access to the roof as the decorators were painting the stairs and we could not get passed because of the ladders and equipment, the cleaners were also busy tidying up some of the apartments. Palacios mar said to us that they have people coming over in the next couple of weeks to sign for the apartments in block 2.

We were told by Patricia at Palacios mar, that as soon as  we have our mortgage in place,all we had to do is to give her 2 weeks notice for them to sort out the signing of the deeds in front of the notary,  and then get the keys to move in, looking at the apartments, i should imagine that they are still a good 4 to 6 weeks a least before they are completely finished,

 we noticed that  people have already moved  into block 3,

the spanish bar is open,
