Corvera Airport

Corvera airport is looking better each time photo's are produced, lets hope it is finished on time and opens next year.

Great post and great link Jackie.  Looking at the big picture.  I'm of the opinion we are going to see some fantastic developments in the next 12months.  Leading to a very different and much improved area and resort in the following 3 years.

IRM taking control of most of resort.  New management (allegedly) to run ALL golf courses with plans for major tournements.  (Which will require a clubhouse surely). This new airport.  New AVER (Fast trains) into Cartegena etc. etc. etc. etc.

LOVE IT!

 DONT FORGET PARAMOUNT RESORT MURCIA ????????

And Disneyland Spain, Universal Studios in Alhama, Harry Potter World in Mazarron and The Hannah Montanna park in Totana!

Hopefully one of these "Dreams" will happen?

why would all that work still be progressing if the airport is never to open.

i cant get my head around the scaremongery or the effort that goes into the negativity. (have we got nothing better to do)?

Just wait and see what happens my money is on the airport will definately open who wants to have a bet.

the same threads will be posted when the hoarding goes up on the paramount land until the day it opens. if it ever opens.

I agree it is positive news, talk of this airport has been going on for a long time now, and its seems like "forever and a day" for it to get built!!!  But it looks like its almost there now. 

And without all the other going on around (which I'm sure will come to something eventually )  this airport alone will change things for our area!  I for one will be keeping my fingers crossed for flights in my area to fly into Corvera!

Maybe I'll be able to run the "golden buggies" to and from the airport he he! Now that's a thought ......

The airport was actually a major factor in my decision to buy there all them years back (2006).  Its all looking sooooo Good.  As you are aware I work for Airbus.  Talk in our place that the MASSIVE A380 could also land there.

On Corvera I have just receuved my first enquiry form an airline for long term rental properties for their staff, starting form December/january, initally 16 apartments wanted for long term rental, initally 6 month term for their maintenance and training teams

They are coming over in Septenmber for viewings and are looking around the area generally with Corvera and Hacienda Del Alamo being the closest resorts plus looking in the towns
