2011 Presidents.

One of the agenda items that will require the vote of the owners will be the election of the community presidents for 2011.   Is your garden/block currently represented? 

Do you believe your current president is doing a good job? Do you know who they are? Have they kept you informed? If you do not believe they have, then you should replace them, why let them continue if you, the owners, are not satisfied? 

Would you like to stand for election, the majority of owners are english, but there are few english presidents?  

Some of the current presidents have said that they will not be standing for re-election this year so replacements are required. Any owner. resident or not, can be elected president, all that is required is the dedication to put in the time and effort to help run the community and to keep your graden/block owners informed of community affairs.     

There is a form on the community website where you can look at the list of those standing for election, and nominate yourself if you wish. ( http://cdagr.wordpress.com/contacts/2011-president-nominations )   It is not a requirement that nominations are registered prior to the AGM, on the day anyone can stand for election, this is simply a method of indicating those that are willing to stand.  

If you are unable to attend the AGM in person, then you can vote by proxy by nominating a third party to vote on you behalf on the day.  

The following are standing for garden president at the 2011 AGM, if you would like to vote for them but cannot attend the AGM then please complete the proxy form here and return to them at the email/Fax address indicated below.   When the agenda for the AGM is announced you should inform your proxy holder how you wish to vote on any of the agenda items.

Some of the nominees cannot attend the AGM in person, so in this case you should give your proxy to the person attending on their behalf.
