Just chased an issue with my apartment following the heavy rain last year and a water mark appearing above the boiler and got the following response:-

Approval to fix the problem. All works at Condado are temporarily on hold.

If anybody did have the same problem and knows how it was fixed, Please let me know?

I may try and fix it myself. I did hear that a lot of people had suffered the same problem above the boiler.

I have been sending them an email from their website nearly everyday regarding the problem in our apartment but have heard nothing back, beginning to get really hacked off with it now.

We also spoke to Nica regarding claimng on the insurance but she said Polaris need to look at the issue first.

How about emailing them again and saying unless they respond you'd have no problem contacting 'a place in the sun' magazine who have the article about PW starting to build again and according to another poster making positive comments about Condado. If you were able to say there are  unsatisfied customers who just want PW to clear up these building problems you might get another article out of the magazine, you dont have to be critival of CdA. Wont ML join the fray and contact PW as well or at least give you and idea of how many people have unresolved problems and then you'd have some evidence for contacting 'a place in the sun.' or similar.  In fact if you've sent an email a day for a period of time I'd be tempted not to even bother with telling PW your plans. I know approaching the media can have all kinds of knock on effects but so do PW and they rely on us not taking those sort of steps, eventually enough is enought. I've been hearing of people who have spent their hard earned cash having major cracks and building work done because PW just dont do this remedial work. What hope do any of us have when faced with a structural problem. Do ML have no teeth?

How darePW send emails saying works are on hold whilst begining to promote a new start to their building programme for the region?.

Otherwise your only hope is that they have decided they can build on CdA again and once workmen and offices are on site you can hassle them endlessly. They know its not worth anyone's while to use the Spanish legal system as its long winded and expensive- although I'd also approach Maria Castro from this site and ask her advice.

Hi all,

We also have building problems again. PW kicked out Chopa, the contractor  who had to fixed the problems in the past.

PW is searching for another (sub) contractor..

Onno.

I have still not had the underground water leak fixed at my apartment and the communication skills from Polaris is terrible to put it politely, I reported the problem in December and all i have been told is that all works on Condado are on hold meaning that i can't use my apartment because it costs about €600 per month for the water. and that is assuming that my connection has not been disconnected as i am confident that Polaris have not paid my €647 bill yet.

Does anyone have any e-mail addresses for Polaris world directors so that i can start bombarding them with complaints and hopefully get the leak fixed.

Mark
