Anyone used Ilucom for their Air con

Had a number of quotes and because of other posts think i might use these as they are a Spanish company and more likely to be around if there are any problems with the install.

Just trying to get any feedback out there if anyone has used or heard of them.

Illucom fitted our lights and air con and we've not had any problems. They were very friendly and efficient so I'd definitely recommend them.

Its alwys good to get a reference.

They have been very quick responding via email but of course that doesn't mean their other services are as good.

What makes did they install,  were they EVO inverters are they efficient and quiet ?

We used Illucom as they were Spanish.

The guy there speaks well of thier business,he infact told us that the English companies have no formal qualifacations,none are registered SL companies,as they can just dissapear of the scene when they want,as most do.

I think that this is a pretty general and unfair statement to make as an SL company can close down as easily as a non SL as demonstrated by the closure of Murcia Furniture this week

I also agree that not all installers are legal and registered but again it is easy to check this out

You need to be looking at a combination of price, performance and of course reference the company as you have done and of course get multiple quotes

There is another company Apollo Air, well referenced on this forum and who did a great deal to resolved the problems when another supplier disappeared

Many large established companies have closed due to the current economic crisis especially in  the murcia region.

Lets not forget Polaris position due to the crisis

What i should have said.i feel more secure dealing with a SL registered business as dealing with a One man band.

HI SPANISH FLEE WE USED ILLUMCOM FOR OUR LIGHTS AND AIR CON. WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE AIR CON THEY CAME OUT AND REPLACED THE FAN UNIT NO  PROBLEM AND NO HASSLE. WE HAD LAST YEAR RADIATORS FITTED IN THE LIVING ROOM. WHEN WE ORDERED THEM MANUEL (THE OWNER) ASKED ABOUT OUR AIR CON TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY PROBLEMS. I ASKED WHY DID HE ASK ARE THEY CRAP? (WHIRLPOOL) HE SAID NO AND HE HAS HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH ANY OF THEM (EXCEPT OURS) HIS AFTER SALES IS ACE. IF YOU DEAL WITH HIM ASK FOR A DISCOUNT HE WILL KNOCK THE FIRST QUOTE DOWN   GOOD LUCK

Go to their web site it will have prices for different models. We paid 1900 euros for our two bed apartment two years ago. At the time when a lot of owners were using Polar Air. They were cheaper (Illumcom) and are still in business. www.illumcom.com Good luck
