Habitation licence for Phase 2

     Hi

   Has anyone heard any more about there habitation licence for phase 2,  Or have been to the notary to sign for there deeds, We were told by our solictor that the town hall had not received the technical report, and that will hold up the licence. Our solicitor will contact the town hall next week to see if they have the report. Has anyone been offered a snagging visit for phase 2. IT all seems to be taken a long time to complete, Has anyone on phase 2 anything to report on any of these issues we would love to hear from you.

Short answer no. I have been contacted by PW via my solictors to say they have given me an appointment in June with the Notary to sign the deeds, on the basis that they were "expecting" the habitation certificates in early June. I've said I'm not making any plans to go out until my solicitior has confirmed the documentation as available.

We got our notice to see notary in june but we wont sign anything til habitation certs arrive. We had already booked an holiday at la torre last week so snagged when we were there. It went really well and there were only a few minor things that needed sorting and we have already had the snagging report returned by e-mail and things are being fixed already, we also got our NIE numbers so it's just a wait for habitation certs. The site is progressing and the golf holes near our apt looked fantastic.  Andrew

Hi all on phase 2

    We are still waiting to hear from our solicitor who when he contacted us last time told us that the town hall had still not received the technical report. so he phoned P W and they said that the habitation licence will be granted on the 11/6/10, so we are hoping that our date of the 16/6/10 will still come through. Has anyone else been given a date earlylier than this or the same date, would like to hear from anyone else on phase 2 with any news.

Hi, We got our date for the 14th june but have contacted p/world to say we won't be going over 'til the hab certs have been issued and then only with 3 weeks notice so we can arrange flights at our convenience. We've waited 6 years for completion so another month or so won't do any harm.

Hi,

I was given July 3rd as my completion date but asked to change it as my solicitor informed me that the Spanish government has increased the tax from 7% to 8% starting July 1st. This would mean an extra £800 for me. I have now changed it to June 30th to avoid this tax increase however, if the Habtacion certificates are not issued soon it looks like we could all be paying the extra tax.

I already have my flights and everything booked so I hope they get it sorted!!

I contacted Polaris yesterday and was informed that they hope to receive the licences on Friday 11th June or if not Monday 14th June.

My original completion date was set for 14th but i moved it to 22nd and have now booked flights etc.

Fingers crossed they get them this week.

No. Phoned Polaris on Friday and due Mon/Tues.

Phoned 10 mins ago - they are hoping it will be tomorrow............

Is anyone meant to be completing this week?

Hi, we had an appointment for 17th June, but have put it back to 29th June as it was all getting a bit last minute. Let me know if you get confirmation of the availability of the habitation certificate.

Licenses have started to come through!  Have received a couple today so it is possible they are being sent in stages.

Hi all on phase,

 Our solicitor called to say that he can sign for our apartment tomorrow and we have also had through our habitation licence. so we have booked our flights for the 27/6/10 we have also had our snagging visit date, its all systems go after waiting since Feb 2007 we were begining to think this day would never happen. Good Luck to you all on phase 2 and happy signing for your apartments.

We also received our Habitation Certificate today.

We are snagging and collecting NIE on 06/07/2010 and if all is well signing on the 07/07/2010.

looks like we are finally heading over to snag and sign-over. Got a date of 29th June, just before the VAT increase. Hope to meet up with some of you folks for a beer at sometime.

Seems to be getting closer. Four years is a long time but I am sure it will be worth it. Don't know if this should be a seperate string but how is everyone going about snagging.?

Who is responsible for the outside areas, eg lifts , pool etc.
