problem with shower staying hot in apartment.

hi there,has anyone experienced any problems with there shower going cold after 2 people have a shower in the apartment.i may have a problem with the settings ,i need to find out what to do as a group of 7 girls are going to stay so need to keep shower running hot water for them all.can someone give me advice please on what i should do.thanks leeanne.

 I would probably say there is no chance of the shower staying hot for 7 people.  We normally manage 3 showers before the water runs a bit cold for the 4th person.  Maybe there is a solution but I don't know what it is unless the showers are taken over a long period to allow the water to heat up again.

I fitted a shower smart thingy that I got free in the uk from water savers (got it on the internet) took 2 mins to fit and gives me 4 good showers. I know other people have this as well. hope this helps.

There is a control knob on the underside of the heater check that it is turned right up.

As others have said its down to the size of the Hot water tank and the length of the shower you take - the free water saver gadget does work well,  but unless your girls are going to shower exceptionally quickly  - you wont get 7 hot showers out of the single tank....

I have seen posts  ref obtaining a bigger tank to stick into the cupboard - and these tanks are for sale down at Camposol, so must be a fairly easy job to bolt in a new tank, even though your Electricity costs would increase heating a much larger tank ?

Hi, replace the shower head with an eco freindly one which will save you at least 6 ltrs a minute and you will still get a great shower due to the head putting air into the water making it feel like you are getting more water at a powerful rate.

It does work basically your shower head you have now supplys you at 15ltrs a minute (if it is like mine on Jardin 4 los naranjos),

So if you are getting 3 to 4 showers now you should nearly get twice as many.

like the person before says if you put abigger water tank it is going to cost you a lot more in electric never mind the cost of the tank in the 1st place.  This shower head will save you water and money in electric.
