Why not make contact with Patrick Robinson at Marbella Mortages - if anyone could help you with this it would be patrick - he got us a 5 year intrerest only on a new build just as the financial world went into metldown.

That's excellent news and I am delighted for you and send congrats to you both..

You were a massive help to us way back in 07/08 when we were searching for a mortage for Condado and we wouldnt be now planning our semi-retirement out to Spain without your valued skills and much appreciated cynicism of the financial world in which you operated !!

I had the same problem when Bancja turned into Bankia - I had to call them initially and if you dial the help desk number and keep bashing the zero key on you phone eventually you will get through to a person and then someone who speaks English and will be very helpful.

They made me reset my acess code online but you need this and you wil need you yNIE number to logon - do  keep trying as when you do get it to work its impressive

Why not try a spanish mortgage broker who can trawl the market for you and get you the best deal ?

I would personally recommend Patrick Robinson at Marbella Mortages (smiley on the EOS forum)  top bloke and very realistic and practical  - if Patrick cant get you a good mortage  - give up !
