I have never posted before on this forum, but have been reading for a few months. I am just a bit concerned that the only bit of information I ever find out is through EOS.
I was purchasing 2 Malva's having been on a viewing trip in December 2006 with an agent in Manchester that is no longer trading. His clients are now looked after by another company!! Although all they ever wanted us to do was swap contracts. Which we did not do. We have no bank guarantee.
We have a solicitor based in Torrevieja and although we were over there in September last year and spoke to her in person, She never replies to any emails or phone calls and I have not had any sort of update since an email in December. I have not seen any proposals from her or direct from San Jose.
For the people who have had a proposal, is there a deadline for a decision to be made? How can any sort of vote be conducted without all parties receiving the proposal?
We were told by our solicitor that a seperate civil case is been brought against the banks over the guarantees and that we will eventually win the case but it could take up to 5 years and we will receive all our money back plus interest!! but when i read things on this forum I don't know who to believe.
Any clarity would be appreciated, we used just about all the equity in our home for this investment so are clinging on to a bit of hope.
