Phase 1 AGM 2010

At long last after less than 11 months wait we have a date for the AGM which is 26 February 2010 startinf at 10.00hrs in Cheers Bar.

The date of the next AGM was on the 2009 agenda but only agreed a date in the week 18 to 25 February so did that help people plan ahead and book flights?

No it did not but at least we have 39 days notice of the meeting date which is about 3 weeks more than last years measily 16 days notice. Also for some the prices for flights has more than doubled since the beginning of January even.

Well we got the agenda for the AGM last Thursday (18 February) nearly 8 days before the meeting so although meeting date was found out earlier this year we actually had only half the amount of time to discuss with other non residents our response to the agenda.

Well I suppose if you only have one eye (with a name like cyclopse) then you obviously can only see half of the picture.
