Rumors

Hi all, I am considering purchasing a property on the La Canada Urb. It looks very nice, however, I have been doing my research and have heard several rumors regarding the finishing off of the development, high community fees, no proper access road, the President's spouse having physical fights with neighbours and the Builder being un-cooperative.

Can anyone shed any light on any of these before I step up my interest ?

Phew! When you put it like that, it doesn't exactly sound inviting, does it?!  

All I know is that when you are actually there it is wonderful and the people I have met there are great.   But yes, the community fees are far too high at the moment for Phase 2 owners (can't speak for Phase 1 as I don't know what they are), but we are hoping that will change after the next AGM for Phase 2 in November, fingers crossed.  We are also hoping the whole development will be finished off properly one day, but hey, it is Spain, and one thing you learn is that things take an awfully long time to get sorted out.  On the plus side, the houses are finished to a high standard and there are views to die for.... we have no regrets about buying our quad.

Hi we have no regrets about purchasing our quad on phase2. As in the other reply the community charges are far to high, hopefully this will be sorted at the next AGM. All the people we have met have been friendly and helpful. Go for it.
