Places to eat

Hi

Does anyone know if there is anywhere local i.e. Corvera Village, to get a decent meal without having to drive to Murcia City?

I take it the answer is no then? 144+ views and no recommendations can only mean that for those who have completed they either need to eat in every night or get in the car and drive into Murcia. Anyone know when the clubhouse will be open?

If you enter Covera from the golfcourse you will see a small yellow painted bar on the first left hand corner try that also up the same street there is another bar which also serves tapas. There is another bar at the other end  of the villiage by the petrol station. On the way to the motorway to murcia to the right there is a small villiage called something like Banos y Mendigo which has a very nice resturant. On the motorway rondabout there is a small travllers restraunt. I am sure as Covera grows more restraunts will open

3 weeks ago when we were staying at Corvera, we were told by a couple already living on site that they were assured the clubhouse was to open by christmas. I'd be surprised but that wouuld be nice.

We are at corvera again next week so will try out some of the recommendations given.

Carrington - Was chatting to one of the regular snagging guys on site last week who informed us that the club house won't be open until April 2010, at the same time the course will be open to the public. He did say, however that owners would be able to play the course from about Xmas. We did not get chance to talk to Corvera about this so cannot 100% confirm this is their statement, but looking at the construction, albeit it is moving along very quickly, I would doubt there is any chance it will be open Xmas.
