There was a thread a while back talking about getting non-residents tax paid, and it was highlighted that this firm would do all of the paperwork for a flat fee of £20 per property (not per owner either!).  All you then have to do is take the completed forms they send to you to your bank and the rest is handled from there

I was holding off until we got some feedback from others who had paid their money and gone with them, so anyone out there who can confirm that they do what they say on the tin???

Yep - that would be me!

Email recieved from John of Spanish Tax Forms Ltd on 25th June suggested that there were a few issues that was making the payment more awkward than usual, one of which being my 'recent' status as having a spanish tax liability stopping the issue of the required 'stamps' to enable payment.

John's work around was for them to make the payment on my behalf, send me the receipted tax form for me to then reimburse SpanishTaxForms Ltd. This, John said would take a couple of weeks.

As yet I have not heard from John and have had no request for reimbursement of payment for the tax payment from them.

I've sent an email this morning to request an update and will let you know the outcome.

Further Update.........

John Bosdet from Spanish Tax Forms has emailed to say that they have paid my tax liability on my behalf but they have yet to receive the receipted forms back from Spain.

When they have he will forward them to me and I assume with a request for reimbursement.

So far I can't fault them - been extremely helpful.

John has said that next year it should be a much more simple process and can be done via DD.

Had you already got an IBI invoice for your place to provide him with the Valor Castaral (??).  If so, did you get this in your mailbox or did you get it from the Town Hall?

I phoned the Alhama Town Hall on  on 0034 968 636 780 and spoke to Rocio who faxed me the IBI tax forms along with a Direct debit form for next year.

This had the Valor Catastral figure on it to calculate the Form 210 numbers that Spanish Tax Forms need to calculate tax liability.

Update on service received

Received my receipted form 210 (Property tax) back from Spanish Tax Forms yesterday.

Cost for 08 liability - for 3 bed on Naranjos after completing in Mid Oct last year was 11.42E each for my brother and I.

Spanish tax forms charge £19.95 per property not person.

John Bosdet of Spanish forms was excellent and kept me informed all the way. Couple of little hiccups with regard to issueing of official 'stamps' but they paid on my behalf using their stamp and I suimply reimbursed them once I received the receipted forms.

No hesitation in recommending John and will continue to use him rather than notary.
