Childs Scooter

We are coming over this week and are looking to purchase a scooter for our 5yr old to leave out there.  Can anyone tell me where I could get one reasonably close to Condado.

Last time we were over which was in May we tried to buy a scooter for our 10 year old daughter, but I must say without success.

We did find a couple at the Decathlon (super sports store) in Cartagena, but they were far too expensive at nearly 100 euros.  If you have any luck locating one, please let me know.

Hope you have a good trip next week, you lucky people.  We don't go out again untill Aug 18th!

we had the exact same problem when we were out in April and looking for a scooter for my 8year old daughter , however we found an interesting chinese supermarket n Mazzaron port and we pad 17 euros.

There's a deceptively large toy shop on the front row of shops and restaurants next to the fountain & beach at Mazzaron Port. It looks small but when you go inside it's got everything including bikes & ride-on's. I'm sure they'll do scooters. Only trouble is when you go in with the kids, ours are 2yrs & 5yrs, it's hard to drag them back out without buying something. The wee tourist trains for the kids also run through Mazzoron from this point, which the kids loved.

There are 2 trains that depart from the same spot. We only went on one of them, which went along the beach front passed all the bars etc. The other goes in the opposite direction but not sure where it goes. The ride lasts about 15-20mins and brings you back to the same spot. I think it was 2 euros 50 cents per head. Everyone waves from the bars etc, a bit cheesy but the kids loved it.

There are numerous chinese shops about, th two wheeler we for my daughter was from Port Mazzaron,  the best way  can describe the location s put your back to the marina on the front and walk nland passing the underground carpark, straight on about 150 yards and you wll find it as being the last shop on the left hand side. My son s much younger (3) we got a three wheeler for him from the Camposol chinese shop, (20 euros) hope this helps

Or if not, there is a Toys 'R' Us near Ikea in Murcia.....Im sure they would sell them in there too!

Isnt there a toys r us in cartegena too next to the Leeroy Merlin where the shopping and cinema complex is?
