Yeh!  I know only too well about the medical facilities and hospital.

Officially Condado medical centre is Alhama de Murcia but no one speaks English there. I get by in poor Spanish. Mazarron medical centre is in the portcabins at the moment and they have interpretors there in the morning. EHIC card needed by anyone who travels around Europe,

Hospital El Palmar outside Murcia  exactly 30 mins especially if you take short cut, I know them all now!!  Treatment brilliant  I say better than UK in our experience. Some staff speak English. they try there best to help.

Most of the time you will need someone with a good command of Spanish to help. I struggled and  barely got by.

Mother in law is 83 and she seems OK with facilities.

Pharmacy in El Pareton and One by old Port good ave Bolnuevo speak very good english

as long as you have EHIC card and passport no problem in getting treatment they are not interested in Travel Insurance
