EXTRACTO DE CUENTA

Hello everyone

Just had our bank balance from Cajamurcia.  40 euros has been taken twice stating C/CARD S'MENT.  We have never used our card in the Hole in the Wall we have tried twice but got into an awful mess.  The man in the bank told us to press one of the buttons which would explain everything in english but this never happened.  Have we paid for the privilege of having a piece of plastic or can anyone out there throw some light on what this is because in a minute we are not going to have any money in our account and we havn't spent a bean.

C/CARD S'MENT - Sounds like 'Credit card statement' as if you requested a statement and been charged the handsome price of 40 Euro each time. Im no expert mind you need to inquire with the bank

We have just opened up a cajamurcia account and we were asked if we wanted a credit card or a debit card, when we asked about the annual cost we were told that the credit card was 40 euros per annum per card and the debit card was 20 euros per annum per card.

Have you got 2 credit cards? if so its probably the cost of these!.....

Got the card in front of me but it doesn't say if it's a debit or credit card.  My Visa  Connect card home here states debit on it.  Obviously it is a credit card hence the 80 euros taken from our account - we were not told of this - naughty.  I have e-mailed our bank and asked them what it is for but what you say makes it fall into place.  Thanks.
