Satisfied or not?

Hi to everyone

I would like to know if the buyers of Calaceite are satisfied of what they have bouhgt, if you think that is like they sold it , if the day which you have gone to see the flat it was all fine and if the external part is as you thought. Has anyone got news about the renting plan that Fuerte Hotels is proposing to buyers?

News about Golf Course? Marina ? and more things that Fuerte Hotel has put on the website ?

I still have to go down to visit the flat but I would like to know some impressions before.

Apart from the problems with our flat,( of which there are many !) the pools and sunbathing areas look great ,there has been some planting around the site with large palm trees and lots of small shrubs but there are areas which still need to be cleared up as the builders have hidden their rubbish under steps to swimming pool etc which looks untidy.

There are a few problems with broken tiles to the toilets and no locks on the doors.

There are no hand rails to the main steps going down to the large pool for children / old people to use

There are no locks to the doors from the garage to the stores and lift areas to prevent access to the apartments and to the front entrances to the apartment lobby areas .So anybody can get in .

We have no news on the golf course or driving range , the Marina project has had the enviromental studies done but no results are known yet, we have been told by another person who lives near to Calaceite that it should be starting about June / July.

I could imagine that there were going to be a  lot of things that were not fine.

I can tell you some things that, because I live in Spain , builders allways do:

Normally there is no lock on doors in the house eccept bath and wedding room( well this is like I have in my flat and my friends have)

The doors from the garage to the stores and lift areas I think that can't be locked up for security reasons ( is the same in my building) I know that is not so safe for burglers but I thnk that we are having security at the entrance of the residencial(not su sure but hope so as we will be paying a lot of money for comunity fees each month!!!!! )

Do you know somthing about the hospital? they told me that they were going to build a private hospital that had to be the same style of our flats.

The thing of the rails near the steps is strange because they should not have givven the authorization to live there untill everything is safe.

I think that cleaning will be sourted but before high renting season ( hope before!!!! it's a pitty that is not tidy!) 

They told me that the golf course is in act, they told me that they are working mooving ground and that is a long thing to build (2 years???) I hope that someone who lives there or that has been lately has more news about it! ( I don't trust a lot what people of Calaceite say because the golf course should allready been finished for what they told us one or two year ago!!!!)

Are you going to sign the contract there in malaga or where you live ?

maybe I will go in May to see the flat if everything is fine

Thanks for your quick reply, the doors to the garage and stores could have locks fitted if they put a split door handle so the door is locked from outside  but can be opened by pushing the handle down on the inside (  I am a carpenter by trade really handy for snagging flats? ) this would get over the fire regulation for escape from doors.

We do have security at the entrance  but they had the barrier up when we were there and we just drove straight through , not very good if they  let everyone through without being stopped.

Well I think that you are right that would be the right way of doing things , but, is not allways the thing that builders do!!!!

I am a  bit ashamed for what you told me about security, I know that the fees that we will have to pay each month will be 180 euros more or less for a  two rooms apartment and well I think that if they don't stay doing the job is really mad!!!

Well we still don't know when we will be going to Calaceite, I think that nearly sure for the 15th , if then we will change plans we will be in contact.
