Hi there Everyone ,

We have received an email from our community representative in Block 5 , which states that we are paying for things that we shouldn't be !!

The community representatives are trying to call an Extraordinary Meeting on 2nd April 2010 , at 10.00 AM of which they need 25% of owners to sign the notification or representation form before the 26th March.

It is important that we are all up to date with payments of our community fees.

If anyone has not received the infomation from their block representitive we can email the letter we have and also the forms to sign.

We will be attending the meeting as we are there over Easter.

Hi Everyone,

We came over at Christmas to set up our apartment but couldn't get our T.V working. It its a brand new tv with freeveiw built in and we also have a sky box.

Does anyone know if the satellite on block 5 is working? If so what channels does it pick up ?

If it does not pick up Sky is anyone interested in getting a Sky dish for block 5 ? If anyone is interested we are going over at Easter so maybe we could get it sorted then .

When we tried to tune the tv in it came up on the screen" weak or no signal " .Any info would be most welcome!

Hi there All,

Yes sucess at last , it was worth the wait ! All our snags have been done and we signed for the apartment on 26th October.

We just have one more job to be done which is a leaky drain pipe from the apartment above so we have a damp patch in the shower room but our Solicitor is on the case so we are hopeful it will be done by the time we get there in December  We now have the keys and will be out there for Christmas and new year.

Hi all

We are still having problems trying to get all of our  snaggs done to our apartment, they have tried to fill the chips in the bath !!which is not good enough for a new apartment.! The two sets of patio doors have scatches in the frames  they have tried to cover them up by using a brown pen!  which you can still see. The granite work top they say it is not posible to change ... it is possible they just don't want to do it. We feel they are trying to fob us off with a sub-standard apartment which we are not prepared to accept.  Does any one else have similar problems ? We would like to hear about them.

We still have not signed and will not until these matters have been resolved.

It is not a very good advert for the development to put negative comments and unresolved problems on the forum, however for the money we are all paying we feel that we have been very patient and have  waited a very long time for our apartment and we feel it should be as good as they say in their sales particulars which ours appears not to be.

On their banners they say " Calaceite Cares For You " well they don't seem to care for us !
