Completion Date ??

Hi there, 

Does anyone know any more details of when the 1st phase Calaceite will ready to be handed over?

We have been out there at the end of August and the builder said it would  be ready in December, however the Calaceite sales team said they thought it would be nearer to Jan / Feb , Does anyone have any further info on this ?

We understand that the Habital Licence could take 1 or 2 months to obtain, does anyone know if this has been applied for and how long it does actually take ?

We have purchased one in Block 5.

We visited the site a few days ago (27 October). We wanted to see our own apartment in block 6 but were not allowed to, for safety resons. Instead we saw an identical one in block 1 which had the looks of being very close to completion. According to the sales people, all the blocks will not be finished at the same time but over a period of maybe 3-4 months. The first block(s) may be ready to hand over by December, the last one(s) in March. I suppose you can expect the blocks of the 'first wave' (1, 4, 5 and 7) to be finished before the ´second wave' (2, 3 and 6). When you are on the site, it seems obvious that block 2 is rather far behind the rest, due to specific construction problems, they said.

By the way, we were also told that the developers (Grupo El Fuerte) have just fired the building company (ALDESA) and installed their own engineers and architects on the site. They assured us that this will only mean a slight delay in the construction works.

I just was in contact with Pascale Thomas and she told me that that our building (we are in number 6) will be ready end of January/beginning of February.  Let's hope because we plan to spent our first holiday mid February ...

She confirmed the news of having fired their building company and having taken over part of the work.  This has caused a delay of 3-4 weeks.

Currently there are some 35 appartments of Vistamar that remain unsold.  The developers plan to furnish the appartments and to rent them out.  This is certainly not good for the other owners planing to rent out their appartment.

Can anyone tell me something more about the Habital Licence as mentionned by Soozy ?

Considering the present circumstances I prefer that the building works be continued by the developer. On the other hand, the fantastic location of Calaceite will not changed by the crisis.

I have an apartment in block 3 and have been told end of feb/ beginning of March.  I am more worried that I about renting it out at least for some of the year, if they have so many of thier own to rent out.  they are also giving away the furnture with new sales.  as any one got a dscount or anything else out of them for the delay?

first of all happy new year,we have been told that we should be signing for our appartment on 21 jan has anybody else been asked we are in block 5 but still no gardens planted and no hand rails to swimming been told not to sign until habital licence has been issued .Does anybogy have anymore information  about the development

We are in block 6 and our completion date is 24 February (originally it was 17 February but we could not go to Spain at that time).

Maybe I shouldn't mention this but we had the value of our apartment assessed by a Spanish valuation company just before Christmas. The result was not encouraging: I will not mention the exact figure but it is clear that the square metre price has dropped a lot in the last 9-10 months. So this is definitely not the time to sell - or to get a new mortgage.

just had a copy of habital licence sent to us,im  not surprised about valuation same all over the world just hope its sort itself out soon still waiting for our solicitor to tell us when to go over to sign. 

 

HI, I have bought a  flat in block 5, I still don't know when we will have to sign the contract. They told me that they were going to start to sign in Jannuary with the block 1, have they started?

I have one question: has the valuation gone down a lot ? Hope not to have problems for the morgage.

Does anyone know the renting politic of Calaceite, they told me that they were going to say something soon ( in november) but still don't have any news!

Delivery of our appartment has been scheduled 3rd week of February.  We are in block 6.

They told us that everything in the appartment would be ready by then.  However, swimming pools and gardens will be finished later.

We have also learned that - due to water saving restrictions by the town hall - no more plants would be planted by Calaceite.  Has anyone heard the same ?

Does anyone already has received his appartment ?  Did everything went ok ?

not signing for ours untill april  we are in block 5 ,how much later for the pools and gardens to be finished so we can use them. Not much use having an apparment & no pools ect
