Kitchen Worktops

Hi everybody,

We dont know about you but we thought that the kitchen worktops in our Penthouse apartment didnt match the standards that we expected from Polaris, so therefore we have had our worktops changed to granite by two english lads, Walter & Steve who live locally.

They have done an excellant job at a very reasonable and affordable cost and we can highly recommend them.  They have the key to our apartment as Steve is also our keyholder. If anyone is interested and wants to visit our apartment to have a look at the workmanship they are welcome to do so. 

I can give people more information on what we have paid and also Walter & Steves contact details if you let me know.

Hi Dave and Carol, it is good to recommend good tradesmen we hear of so many people getting ripped off around here. You might want to suggest to the contractors that they advertise on the community website classifieds where everyone will be able to see it for a month to month period rather than for just the few moments this post stays up. We are trying to get good contractors to support the site and a recommendation is the best. It is low cost at 7.50 a month and new companies will be coming on board next week. Hope this is helpful.

PS we were not overly impressed with the countertops either, we have seen a lot of them replaced as they swell around the sinks if not properly sealed.
