Barbeques

Considering buying a gas barbeque in the UK and shipping it over with some other bits we need to get over to Condado. Would we be better to buy in Spain or are the very expensive. and if we do buy in the UK would there be a problem with the fittings to a Spanish Gas Bottle.

Can't answer re the gas cylinder but can give some guidance on prices in Spain, as I was looking last week.  Brico had a very nice gas bbq for €99, and others ranged from €125-over €350.  Leroy Merlin had them ranging from about €140 up to around €500 for a very flash one.

I brought a large gas BBQ form UK and no problems with fitting you have to use a spanish regulator.

You have to get a licence (about 100€) so they say.

Bottles can be purchased from Fuel Stations some dont ask to see yopur licence.

Regulators easily obtained from DIY shops.

What i would say is a gas BBQ on most solariums may keep blowing outit can be quite windy here quite a few of our friend have opted for the charcoal version for this reason.

its actually 30 euros for the initial gas bottle deposit.you need to show your nie prererably but they make take a passport.
