We will also be out for 7 nites from Wed 23 May and it would be GR8 to make up a 4 ball with any other owners.

Hi just to let you know, my father and brother played Roda early December along with 4 other courses, Roda left the rest for dead, greens were good, and the course is in great shape, and the staff in the club house could not do enough for them.

Wish we could join you unfortunately the skiing takes president, until we get closer to finalising our apartment.

We played 18 holes last Frid and the course was in 5* condition. The greens in particular were the best i have played on this year.

In comparison we played at La Torre on the Monday and the course was looking untidy with very poor greens.

Just back from a week at Roda and played golf 3 times. The course is maturing well; the greens are brilliant, fast and true very large on some holes and a delight to play on. Three of our party are low handicap (1 scratch) and all were very happy with the course and commented on the quality. I used the temporary clubhouse and the staff were helpful and informative. The restaurant staff were also attentive and gave good service.

I was able to get owner discount without fuss just by giving my name-they look it up on the system and I got 10% disc in restaurant and on green fees. No discount on golf clothing or equipment.

No handicap certificate required-you have to pay 2/3 euros for insurance each time you play. However instead you can pay 60 euros to the Spanish golf federation which gives you the right to play on all golf courses after you have been accompanied by a pro to chech your handicap.

During our stay I was impressed by the number of people working on the course and their attention to detail. The clubhouse is progressing well and is due to open at Xmas.

So guys as you can see I'm impressed and the best is yet to come. This is going to be a great golf location and I look forward to playing the course in future. We bought in Phase 3 and are going back 5th-12 Oct if anyone wants to meet up

The condition of the course last week can only be decribed as 5*. The maintenance standard certainly seems at the moment to be up to what you would expect from Devere.

In contrast we also played at La Torre. The course was generally in poor condition with most of the greens suffering from disease. There other main problem was there were non golfers and dogs wandering around the course. With no course marshall around we had to wait several times for people to move out of the way.

The difference is LT is only being maintained as a holiday course, not championship as at RG&BR

We will be at Roda 14/15/16th Dec.

We have tee times booked for the Sat & Sun.

Will any members be around to make up a 4 ball.
