IBI TAX

Can anyone give me some advice on how to obtain information from the Town Hall on our IBI Tax?

My solicitors have sent me the bill for my non-resident tax for last year but need to know the amount of my IBI Tax.  Unfortunately I have no idea about this.  Where would I go to obtain this information?

If by IBI you mean the new tax that has superceded the old wealth tax then your Solicitor will have all the relevant information regarding your liability. Only when this liability has been paid are you able to approach your Solicitor for a breakdown. I am not kidding! When my solicitor informed me of my liability for last year I asked how this figure was arrived at and was told once I had paid it and the Solicitor's fee I would be told the relevant details.

My solicitor keeps telling me it is the local council tax!  I will go back to her this week and speak to her AGAIN about this!
