Urbaser Monthly Fees

Can anyone give me an idea of their monthly water bills so far?  I was €40 on my Feb debit. Thanks.

Water bills are 20 Euros per 2 months (give or take a few cents) Standing Charge to Urbaser and Ahama Council presume one for supply and one for sewer

Then 0.64 cents plus tax per Cu meter mine for Nov and dec as a full time resident was 16 Cu Mtrs = 10.24 plus tax

On that basis mine sounds a bit high - given that the apartment is only let occasionally and not lived in full time.  I will need to keep any eye on it I guess.  Thanks for the info.

Turn your water off at stop cockm in kitchen when un occupied to stop builders / gardeners using it?

The workers will use any available tap or socket i have seen it many times

also various companies that turn up to fit awnings and aluminium doors?

Unfortunately I am unable to do this as I have an automatic irrigation system in place for terrace plants.  However, God help any of them if I catch them at it......

Our first bill was 34 euro and we haven't been i our apartment since the water meter was connected!

Clearly someone has been helping themselves!

Ours was the same, and our water is turned off which suggests that it is a standing charge.

Our first bill was also 31 Euros and we have only been over  a couple of times and haven't used that much water - it looks like they just make up a number.   We are going out to Spain next week so need to get the key to our mail box and see what the bill says.
