Aureus Being Marketed to Guests

Hi,

Is anyone aware that a company is now offering the Aureus apartments for rent to the public.  I guess they must be the company chosen by the developer to oversee the development but I hadn't heard that any agreement had be reached.  Their website can be accessed using the following in a serch engine.

We completed on our apartment at Aureus a few weeks ago (having signed up off plan in 2004) and were given a copy of the management contract that was signed with Complejo Bahia Sur S.L. based in Madrid on Sept 19 2008 for an initial term of 5 years.

Our snagging has been assessed now with just a couple of minor interior fixes identified but the lawyers are still trying to get confirmation for us of exactly how the management company will work with the owners, if they have a team in place to carry out all the operations and when lets will commence. Looks your website link answers some of the questions. We'll send to our lawyers to chase up a position and post any updates here.

Thanks for the update and I think the website for rentals looks great.

It appears they are a small hotel group which may restrict advertising.

Are you pleased with your apartment cos I think the finish appears good but have not been inside yet as I have not completed yet.

We've  heard that the apartments and the complex all look really good now but we haven't seen anything ourselves yet - must get some pictures sent over !

Our lawyers are definitely in touch with Bahia Sur as we have been told that they are looking to rent out our apartments for May, July & Aug and then it is up to us if we want to agree with them for the remaining months or if we want to keep for ourselves. Has anyone else been given any more details or signed up to anything directly with Bahia Sur ?

I pulled out of Aureus quite a while ago now and was one of the lucky ones that got my deposit (plus interest )back almost immediately. However I have been following the progress of Aureus via this website to see how things have progressed,but there have been no postings over the last couple of months.

Can anyone update me, please ?

We were due to complete within the next few days and are flying out to Spain next Monday (25 May).  We were due to be staying in the finished apartment but won't be able to due to a 'hold up'.  Although we probably won't be able to get into our apartment we plan to visit the development and take as many pictures as possible and I'm quite happy to send copies to anyone who wants them.
