Hi,

We've  heard that the apartments and the complex all look really good now but we haven't seen anything ourselves yet - must get some pictures sent over !

Our lawyers are definitely in touch with Bahia Sur as we have been told that they are looking to rent out our apartments for May, July & Aug and then it is up to us if we want to agree with them for the remaining months or if we want to keep for ourselves. Has anyone else been given any more details or signed up to anything directly with Bahia Sur ?

Hi,

We completed on our apartment at Aureus a few weeks ago (having signed up off plan in 2004) and were given a copy of the management contract that was signed with Complejo Bahia Sur S.L. based in Madrid on Sept 19 2008 for an initial term of 5 years.

Our snagging has been assessed now with just a couple of minor interior fixes identified but the lawyers are still trying to get confirmation for us of exactly how the management company will work with the owners, if they have a team in place to carry out all the operations and when lets will commence. Looks your website link answers some of the questions. We'll send to our lawyers to chase up a position and post any updates here.

Hi,

We haven't completed yet but have been told in last couple of weeks that it will be very soon. Our lawyer is obtaining an english translation of the contract which has been agreed with the management company and we also understand that Banco Pastor have finalised their mortgage details for anybody taking a subrogation mortgage from them on this development.

I wrote to Ocean Estates to see what input they are having in the process but no reply yet............ the only good thing from them so far for us was the lawyer they put us in touch with at the beginning - she's been great !

Will post update when we hear anything new.

Hi everyone,

We've just been given a completion date by our lawyer for early June. She did also say that the licence for the rental activity has not been issued yet with the developer expecting to get this in March or April which is why the completion date is so far out.

Looks like the developer isn't going to get any cash for a while yet if he is relying on this to settle any refunds........

It's only a couple of weeks off our 2nd anniversary of going out to see the complex which was only waiting completion of the entrance areas and swimming pools at that time - patience is a virtue (so we're told)  !!

We were also hoping to have seen some posts from somebody who had moved on to the site as resident and starting a keyholding & cleaning service. We've done this with a previous purchase in Spain and like ColatLt says, it's been great just to have somebody who can check things over and go in if somebody is visiting.

If anybody can recommend............
