I have used them on my last two visits to Malaga.They are much cheaper than other hire sites at the airport,easy to reach and I have had no problems with them.

Both times the cars had small scrapes on the wings,which were shown on the agreement you sign at the hire desk,but there was nothing wrong with the cars themselves. I assumed that this is why they are much cheaper than their parent company,Hertz,and were cars used by Hertz before having scrapes.

Thats my theory anyway.

Many thanks for your information. i have just been out to Spain, I was still not getting any programes,so I inserted your suggested frequency, and received transmission immediately.

When I think of all  the 40 euro call out fees I have paid to various television engineers, who do not really know what they are doing.

Or do they ????

I recently read one of your articles [ DEFAULT TRANSPONDER FREQUENCY SETTINGS FOR SKY BOXES IN COSTA BLANCA SPAIN ], 

On my last visit to Spain in June, I had the problem you described, with the message of NO SAELLITE SIGNAL BEING RECEIVED, I have had this problem previously, and after awhile the picture has returned but not this time.

You suggested to use a frequency 12207, would this be the same for the Malaga area of the Costa Del Sol, or would I need to use a different frequency? I am coming out to Spain next week and would like to get it working again.

If this fails I may need to buy a new Freesat Box,and bring it over, there seems to be so many different models, which would you reccomend ?

HI,

I pulled out of Aureus quite a while ago now and was one of the lucky ones that got my deposit (plus interest )back almost immediately. However I have been following the progress of Aureus via this website to see how things have progressed,but there have been no postings over the last couple of months.

Can anyone update me, please ?

I wrote to my lawyer on the 12th of December 2006, to request a refund.

In February of 2007, I sent a power of attorney for the lawyers to act on my behalf.

In April 2007, I was sent a figure for the full refund of deposit plus interest, I had to agree this figure.

On the 29th of May my lawyers received the cheque and forwarded it to me.
