We were in the same position trying desparately to get a mortgage without much luck as it was a fairly complicated application. We had tried many brokers who seemed to spend more time hiding under their desks and ignoring our attempts to contact them than actually trying to help us. We were recommended Sharon at the mortgage service group in Spain so we contacted her.

I have to say she was excellent to deal with and went above and beyond what is expected, she always replied to our queries and her communication skills were excellent. We have now completed on our apartment and couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Hi all

We have been trying to get a mortgage from Halifax now for three months.  We have already had approval but with conditions.  One day we were told yes and the next they would be lowering the amount offered.   So we  were out in spain on Mon to Wed to finalise things and met a brillant mortgage broker who within three hours had approval for us from a spanish bank.  She came to Polaris's head office to meet us the next morning to get papers signed and the valuation is being done this week.  She was very efficient.  If anyone wants her details let me know.
