Sewage in the Bathroom

Hi All,

Just back from a week in Jardins. Met some neighbours and had a nice pleasant week till Saturday. Don't know if it had anything to do with it raining all day or what! While flushing the toilet Sat water came out from the base of the toilet and the side of the bath plus raw sewage came up through the plughole.    We had no toilet or shower facilities for the weeekend. Just as well we are near the sports complex where we had to use the facilities. Have rang Polaris this morning and hopefully they can sort this out. Has any one else had or heard of this problem. I know we Irish are full of shit but this takes the biscuit!!

God that sounds rough!!   have to say that we didnt have any similar problems but we left on Sat morning. I did notice that on several days there was a rotten smell of sewage. I hope that PW pull their finger out and get it sorted asap. It was great to meet up with you while we were there

Hi Skinnymags!

So sorry to hear of your sewage problems!  I was in customer services many time last week and on the friday morning I heard a couple of people saying they had a leaky toilet but I can't remember hearing sewage mentioned.  Hope all get sorted out soon for you!

We are just back also.  We had the same problem on the Monday morning and finally got it fixed Tuesday evening.  We too had no loo or shower facilities for 2 days and staying at Jardin 13 the car came in handy for nipping round to the sports complex.   It turns out that the apartment under us had the block.  They had to smash the floor tiles to get access under the floor and insert new drainage pipes downstairs.  The guys where busy the whole day Wednesday in their apartment. Just as well there was no one living there.  We had a few other problems; there were loads of movement cracks that had appeared since July.  They spend all day Friday chipping and refilling and left a lovely powder of white and grey everywhere.  We also had no water going into the washing machine; but these where all soon rectified.  I can't fault customer service.  They must have been sick of the sight of us; as we where in there everyday with a new  problem, but they got onto right away and sorted everything out. We where just glad we where there when these problems arose and could not imagine if it had happend while someone was in renting from us!!
