Arrived Tuesday stopped at 525 in Los Alcazares (top class!) signed wed and arrived at penthouse 2pm just as Elite European finished unloading our furniture. Great guys.
Linda rang us at night make sure they´d done good job.
No electric water at first got electric Thurs no water till Sat. We stank! Finally sorted now feel happier.
Saw Gary fitting Ali & Simons aircon, Mick fitted our lights and shower screen doing more jobs on Tues def recommend him.
Golf course looks great par 3 11th is monster over lake put ball in pocket and walk round!
Racing along with Foro working under floodlights.

Congrats hope you are now sitting out sipping a nice glass of something! We came home today and have had the heating on for about 4 1/2 hrs !!! its freezing here  the kids wanted to come home and put the house up for sale and move over to CdA lol

Congratulations on your move. Glad things are going smoothly for you. Unsure what block you are in, but I'll be in block 1. Keep the drinks chilled, will be over end of November and for Xmas. You can give me survival tips then.

Hi all,
Just a quick one to anyone completing soon. If you find yourself without water for a few days due to polaris c*ck up - head down to the sports facilities at the Jardines - they have showers and toilets in the changing rooms (entrance just next to the supermarket). We only found this out after 2 1/2 days without water and getting rather smelly!

I couldn't PM you cos of the tashjohn mix up. Can you let me have the contact etails for Elite Euro and can you give me an idea of the cost. I am thinking of ordering some outdoor furniture from Smart Direct which someone on here mentioned and our friends who've also got a place out threre are doing the same if the cost is ok. We were thinking of ordering it all togther which may bring the cost down but i don't know if thats how it works.

We are completing later this month in Block 6. As a matter of interest how clean did Polaris leave the penthouse or did you have it specially cleaned before you and your furniture arrived?
Are you using builders supply for electricity and water?

Hi NigelV,
Apartments get a builders clean, this is where they move the dirt from one corner to another then wipe down with a manky cloth.
You will certainly have to clean it yourself or pay someone for the pleasure, the dust and dirt coming from the construction of the golf course is terrible but who cares it will be worth it when complete, then we can stop dusting.
Our keyholder is doing our clean for us but I am under no illusions that this will have to be repeated again and again and again,
so much for relaxation.

We got our keys on Friday and we were pleasantly surprised about how clean it was. Yes we did have to wipe down the doors, floors, and sweep up etc but we looked in the window when we arrived and the apartment was very dirty so we felt they made a good start.
Its looking really good and after a bit of a of a cold start it warmed up nicely at the end of the week.
