Could someone please advise on the best type of heaters available for our appartment. where to purchase and approx cost.

Hi Kevin and Cath
We have put in the electric panel radiators which are about 5mm thick and hang on the wall.
They are 450w and they cost 20cents an hour to run.
They are from Leroy Merlin in Murcia and are on offer at 69euro until the end of November.
They were really easy to install and we did all 5 in an hour.

Hi,

Anyone intending to rent out their apartment will need to offer cooling in summer and heating in winter, so it might be worth considering installing combined hot & cold aircon units.  These can be fitted with coin meters if required to discourage the units being left on all day with the doors and windows open!!

do the air con companys fit the meters or is this done by someone else. it seems like a good idea

I have a local contact for the meters if you care to pm me. Don´t think i am allowed to give details on open forum.
Cannot understand why they should be illegal. Have seen coin meters for TV etc in apartments in Spain for years. Besides how will  Policia Local know about it?
