Nope! We are completing on 21st October and spoke to my solicitor yesterday, he said he would expect it to come through the week before.
If it's not in place we will just keep our appointment at the notary and sign POA to our solicitor to complete when it shows up.

Hi,
We received all of the completion paperwork yesterday, due to complete 15th Oct. As yet no Habitation certificate. Was told it would be hear early Oct, so keeping fingers crossed. If it doesn't turn up, then like others, we'll do the notary, and let the solictor do the POA.
We'll just miss you Dan & Kev as we're flying back on the 17th, but we'll hopefully catch up with you next time.

Hi Phil - Nice to see you back, although we were hoping it would be as a new owner - Our completion is next week, but at this stage not holding our breath for too long - Hope we're proved wrong ---How did everything else go? Did you get your snagging done, or was that put off because of the habitation certs? What did you think of everything on the whole? - Know you met Carol and family, great aren't they? Makes you feel so secure, knowing that someone like her is looking after the place

Hi OOch - That post of mine is a little misleading - sos - What I meant was, was the snagging delayed because of the non completion - I'm sure Emma told us that if the completion is delayed then so would the snagging be, I'm sure she'll correct me if I'm wrong about that - If you're going ahead without the habitation certificate in place, then it shouldn't make any difference

Thanks for the reply, Just had a quick search of the net and it says that electricity and water can go on once the habitacion cert is in place so maybe that's why it would be beneficial to have it before snagging?

That depends on what you mean by getting the water and electric on - It's true that you won't be able to apply or get utilities turned on without a habitation certificate but that won't necessarily be before the snagging - Everybody that has completed so far is still using builders water and electric

Hi All,
Just returned from 3 days staying with Brother In Law about an hour from the site. Due for completion on 28th Oct so took the opportunity on Sunday to call in and actually got the chance to look around the outside of my Apartment (los naranjos jardin 8) and get onto the solarium/roof terrace. Had a peek through the window - looks like air con is about to go in. Popped into the customer service portakabins and discussed completion, particularly when I could expect to see the hab. cert. The girl was rather vague but explained that it should be ready in time for completion. Will continue to pester them.
Phil - pity we couldn't meet up. Appeared I missed you by an hour so. Sorry to hear you didn't complete on Thursday. Hope you get it sorted through POA asap. Look forward to meeting you and Ann in the near future.
