Apartment for rent - (but only to people with spindly legs)!!!

I have just returned home from an exhausting 3 days getting my place ready for the first rentals.  My imported furniture arrived from Bali.  It's great - apart from the fact that the beds are HUGE!!!!!  It is a big enough struggle to get the single beds into the smaller room (PW sneakily used smaller than normal singles to put into the show-flats), but these babies were mental!  Me and Carol (Angelbabe - bless her) spent most of Saturday afternoon 'modifying' the single beds to fit.  After several cuts, bruises, 'differences' of opinions, laughs and - almost - tears (me not her), we managed to get them reduced in size to fit.  Albeit you need to be a size 8 or less to get past the bottom of the first single to get to the second one.

I have posted some photo's up (Condado section) for anyone who is interested or who thinks they may want to import their own stuff too.  

It was great to meet some lovely forum folks on Sat night although, at one point, Carol did think she may have to 'nip' down to CAM Bank for another mortgage to pay for the drinks!  I was 8 euros for a small glass of wine and 3 packets of Walkers crisps.  Owch.

Arlene, the crisps sound a bit uneccessary!! (Ask Carol if she want's me to bring a supply over!) Glad you got it all sorted, sorry I missed you, I am out later this week.

You're probably right about the crisps - perhaps had I not eaten so many I would have got past the end of the bed easier!!!!!!!????  Enjoy your trip.  Am over again end of March until 10th April. Hopefully see you then. x

Wow - looks amazing.  You are right you have defo got the best dressed solarium on Condado!  Makes us all wish we had helped to fill your container after all.

It was lovely to meet you on Saturday albeit briefly, I look forward to catching up properly next time we meet.

We are back out next weekend - can't wait!

well arlene someone will have to call the Spanish fire brigade to prise me out with the jaws of life if I get stuck between your beds. Cos although I have lost weight I am not a size 8. Was an 18 now a 14.

"Ptan" we will be trying out the sunbeds before you at the end of October and the beds too!

Love the apartment, especially the red.  This is the  colours I have picked for our apartment  except my main bedroom is red  and not brown like yours. 

Again I had a good belly laugh at all these people trying to squeeze past the first bed to get to your second and not making it. I personally don't know many golfers with skinny anything let alone legs, but i do know lots of tall ones, so the big beds will be necessary.
