am not sure where to post this as I know that it may effect buyers on Playa Golf and other the developments but IAP properties have gone into receivership and the following is from www.iapprops.com

Re; Instant Access administration.

Have just contacted their office and yes, they are in administration.  For those of you who are interested, you can still go onto their website and their is an announcement there that states their plans for the future.  IAP will still exist under the heading of IAP Global.  They CLAIM that they will still push through all current deals to completion.

As they are always at pains to state, our contracts are with the developer, not IAP so if it's a matter of your property being finished and you completing on the deal, then this SHOULDN'T affect that part of the process.

All may not be lost - let's hope so

I accept that it may be true that the contracts for the core propertes may still be with the developers howvever the complication may be with all of the third party suppliers for furniture, grills, AC etc as a percentage of these items are paid for directly by IAP

I would advise owners to check the satus on the fitting of these additional items

I personally would be a bit nervous when a company closes up in one name and re-open in another especially after their comments when Instant Access Seminars went under in May 2008

There also seems to be some confusion over who their preffered partners are

Yes you are right there, our air conditioning units went out the door with the administration of IAP!  

They kept stalling with the installation from about April time and I seemed to have spent all my time drafting emails to all and sundry!  Obviously they knew all along at that time that the administration order was on the cards.

Now, looks like we just become another statistic on the Trustees notepad!
