Both Mirador and Aifos, apart from Palmera Properties (which marketed many apartments and houses there) are being taken to civil and criminal court charged with fraud and breach of the contract in this huge promotion they were preparing.
The matter is that the building license over these works were given by the former Villanueva del Rosario Major, who is now out of politics. The new major, from a "green group" (defending nature and natural resources) has cancelled the license which is being investigated by the Málaga Public Prosecutor also, as it is seems it was given not honouring Spanish Law, apart from permit so much houses to be built and some golf courses, everything impossible to do as the area will be unable to provide all the water and public services this big complex would need.
I do recommend you to inform you about the situation, of the promotion (do not forget Mirador and Aifos economic situation is not good) besides check which is your personal situation (that depends on your contract and signed documents).
