Before I start delving too far, views on charges.
We have used property for 4 weeks since May 08.
I have Electricity DD's of 44.66 euros in May, 72.74 euros in July and now 242.95 in August.
Seems an awful lot . We have had air con on for about an hour in total. So only hot water, cooking and lights.
We switch all (apart from fridge freezer) off when not there.
Am I paying for whole of Village!!!
Do these charges seem reasonable?
Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave

We are usually billed every two months for electricity (debited from our account) and, even if your 242.95 bill is for July and August, it does seem extremely excessive!!  To run up that sort of bill I would think you would have had to leave your A/C running on auto for the two months!

Even when we had someone staying in our apartment for two months (mid March thru May), the bill was about 120 euros for electricity for that period!  Ok, maybe they didn't have the A/C on at all, but still your bill is double that amount and it does seem a little steep!

Dave,

It could be a misread? Did you ever paid a connection amount? Has this caught up with you?

Have you had the actual bill to see how it is made up?

Thanks, the amounts have just been DD's from my account. I have not actually seen a bill. We are out next week, will try to get one, maybe with post at the security hut. There was nothing there 2 weeks ago.

You can ring Sevillana Endesa and ask for copies of the bill, you can spak with an English speaking operator on their service number 902 509 509, you will need your contract number or your passport or NIE number which ever was used when the contract was set up.
