We used Villapac. Others may have different stories about them but we were very satisfied.
They do sales from the UK, who were ok, but once it was passed to the Spanish office for the actual delivery the service was very good.
They were a bit slow, but not too bad.
A number of items we ordered were not in stock - and we were not told when we ordered. But they came up with similar items (I believe of a higher specification) and delivered, saying if we were not happy they would replace. But we kept all items as they were of a good standard and matched the rest we had.
When Villapac gave a time they stuck to it (unlike most UK deliveries!!)
Extra work was needed and they did it with no problem.
Also Villapac are paid in pounds so got over the problems of the poor value euro.
We did the basics from Villapac then came over and did the rest ourselves. It is suprising how many discount furniture shops there are in the area. Also use Carrefor in Estopona for kitchen/household goods- good stock and value. But you will need a few trolley loads and journies!!
I thought it would be a chore to set up , but it was not stressful and a fair amount of fun.
If you want any other info please contact me

Dave

Prices may have changed but when we did our furnishings in April this year they were around the cheapest. It does also depend on the pack you chose. We went to the showroom in Milton Keynes and chose items there, that way you got to see what you were getting (although it did not always work out like that)
Best of luck

Dave

Hi

We used Furniture Express and can highly recommend them.  They are all very friendly and helpful and installed the lights and shower/bath screens as well.  You can look at most furniture items on the internet and we then went to their showroom to decide on the extras such as bedding and curtains/cushions and decoration items.

Hi well worth a visit to Furniture World on the industrial estate in Estepona, all English and you can purchase everything under one roof!  Although we didnt find out about them until after we got our furniture, we have bought several items both large and small from them, via the uk with pictures attached to e mails etc.  They are very helpful and a member of staff actually lives on DV, so bought rugs home from work for me.......

Hope this is useful information for you.

Regards m

Furniture Express were flexible,  delivered on time and provided what I considered to be good value.

The installers did leave me with a faulty item which I would have expected them to have noticed when installing the furniture  but they were happy to promptly replace it.

Given the fall in the pound against the Euro, today I would evaluate buying of the furniture in UK , hiring van and driving down.

However I would suspect the overall saving is marginal.    But you might enjoy choice if you have the opportunity take your time.

It all depends on how you like you apartment furnished and your use of the apartment.

My furniture pack was just for the bare essentials as I did not plan to rent out..
This then allowed  me  to buy the extra items at a slow and leisurely pace - which was a pleasure.

regards, Paul

I agree what has been said about Furniture Express..i bought the the basics, english beds, linen , table and chairs to get me going.  I bought items from other places but keep popping back to see Tony and buy some more. He is a good bloke for a Leeds United supporter

We used Casasola opposite Mercadona in Sabinillas, they speak English as well and they were very good. We went to Carrefour for kitchen stuff and English Bedding shop for sheets towels etc.
