IVA? When and how often is it payable?

Hi all Los Olivos people.  Just a quick hello from 2 newbies to site.  We have 3 apartments at Los Olivos 1 top floor, 2 on 2nd floor (unfortunately that as much info as we have at present as have not seen a plan to show where apts are exactly)).  Just a little background on us I'm Alex, 41 years old, Nail Technician (Beauty Therapist) Mother of Lewis (10) and Kate (5) and my Husband is Graham (44 years old) who runs a taxi business, we live in Sunderland (its cold all the time!)  It's been lovely to see posts from other people who are purchasing in the same development.  To be honest we paid our deposits 2 years ago through Palmera Properties but have had very little feedback on the site.  We have no idea as to when development will be complete but are planning a visit in January to see for ourselves.  Will take pics so if anyone wants me to e-mail them just let me know!  Bye for now.

Welcome Alex to the site - and especially from us (3b) as we live just south of Durham City - very close to you! Have you discovered the photographs here? Go into shared photos - you will see lots of up to date photos, and I am sure you will be delighted by what you see. There is also a plan of the development, with the numbers of plots and peoples names against them. Are you planning a move over lock stock and barrel, or holiday homes? Spoke to Michelle yesterday who restated that as far as she was aware dec 31 was still on schedule & an interesting letter to go out to all buyers on Los O.

Hi Alex & everyone

Alex, welcome to the site. I am so pleased to hear of someone going out in the new year, so we can get an up to date progress report. We have 31a & will be living out there.

I really would like to believe end of Dec for completion, but there is only just over 5 weeks left for them to complete in & that's not counting stopping work for Xmas holidays. It would be a nice Christmas present if we was completed on time.

Haydn & Judy, can't wait for this letter. Did'nt Michelle tell you what was in it?

Info that we found out when we was last out there is that there is a van that goes round the site selling bread & cakes. That will be nice. Our post will be delivered to the post office in the village, which is where we will have to collect it & there is a fresh water fountain as you just go into Majacar village, where people fill up bottles to take home.

It's so nice we are all chatting again.

another update on behlaf of Sylvia...

Went to see the builders again today and they are now saying that the apartments will be ready by the end of January, and paperwork by the end of Feb. However, they also said that the pools and gardens would not be completed at this point.

Sounds like lots of mixed messages!
