Just  the news we have been waiting so long for,where did you get the info from ?  At least we can look forward to another winter in Spain but this time in our own appt.

Hi I don't want to be bearer of bad news but I have just received an email from my solicitor saying that the town hall have informed them that the FOL cannot be approved yet ,as they are still awaiting the last report from the municipal technician who is very busy and they are not expecting it this month. Seems to be mixed messages as usual.

I suspect there is someone trying to keep the 'hounds at bay'!

I would have thought, given all the publicity and the involvement of the Andalucian regional council/government that an inspection would be VERY necessary! 

Again, the developer should have had the professional coutesy (is there any in Spain?) to inform clients of progress other than the poor quality photographs on the old Majestic website that was simply renamed www.smd-spain.com , lets see what develops after the August holiday!!! I'd be interested to know how long peope are given to get there mortgages also, as the email the Banco Pasteur sent last September will no longer apply due to the timescale (will be 1 yr).

Yes professional courtesy does exist in Spain, please do not tar everyone with the same brush.
I am intrigued by the fact so many buyers of Condesa seem to be relatively intelligent people yet were taken in by the brochures which showed the development as front line golf, when in fact its front line shrubland!
