Hi Everyone

Please could all owners put the felt furniture pads on the bottom of all your furniture items.  Not only will it protect your marble floors, it will also help your neighbours to sleep at night.  We had quite a few sleepless nights with people above us returning to their apartment late at night and then scraping furniture across the floor.  These can be purchased very cheaply from the Chinese supermarket shop in Sabinillas.  We brought ours over from the UK and have stuck them on all our furniture.  Shoes and slamming doors are another issue which I expect we will be stuck with if people are renting!  I hate to moan as people are on holiday and should be able to relax and enjoy themselves, but not everyone likes an extremely late night.  The people concerned were not staying in the apartment above us but above and to one side which is a worry as they sounded as if they were directly overhead. Obviously we have no soundproofing.

Advantages of these felt  pads are:-

• you can move heavy furniture e.g. beds and table with great ease.  They just slid silently and effortlessly across the marble floor with one hand.  So it makes cleaning so easy.  Your cleaner will do a better clean.
  
• it cares for you floor.  Marble does wear.  These cut down wear,   protecting your floor.
• putting them on the bottom of your bed posts certainly adds to your own privacy (if you know what I mean).
• no more  horrid screeching sounds - you'll be surprised at the difference these make and how you much really hated the screeching yourself.

These are also available from Carrefor as well as the Chinese shop.
These are so cheap at one Euro per  card of 16 pads that   I'm thinking of just buying them for my whole block and giving them away free.

In fact  I'll even come and fit them.
