Furniture & Air Conditioning

I have just arrived back from C de A and went to Homestyle and Murcia Furniture

Both had some nice stuff however I have come away with no real idea of what or how i am going to furniture the 2 Bed Apt with Roof terrace

Has anybody been to any other furniture shops? Can you advise which gives a good deal and which you feel are ripping you off?

Has anybody had a look at air con? Are there any good deals?

Welcome to the Forum, If you search the forum therre are lots of suggestions on both furniture and air conditoning quotes etc...Lots of members have posted about where they have looked, purchased and got quotes from for various items so your best bet is to search and able through them.  Hope that helps

Talking of Furniture.

Can anyone remember who furnised the show apartments?  Half were done by Homestyle, but who did the others?   Trying to find the corner TV unit with the swivel TV base.

I'm over in Murcia just now, just ordered my furniture from Z-beds they are just before you come to Mar Menor Resort on the left, they don't do packages, got all my beds, sofa bed, dining table,chairs, tv unit, table all in solid wood, also got my silver goods as well,I dealt with a guy called Andy, they are going to be openning a show apartment in Jardin 10 soon. 
Have just got my lights from Ikea and the outside ones from Leroy Merlins and this worked out for 15 lights 340 euros.
Got some of our bedding from Primark which is in the big shopping centre just past Ikea (Nuevo Condo) or something like that.
Just going to wait until September to get the rest.

Away back to HR from some R&R

Just got back from visiting Condado, stayed at La Torre.  We did lots of looking around at furniture shops and packages.  Decided to get the air con from Polaris and that is being fitted this week.
We found a great shop in San Javier called Castor Furnishing where we bought beds, drawers, sofa, tv unit etc, they include delivery and installation in the price.   There were lots of choices if colours/fabrics etc not just 3or4 as in most places.  I felt the quality was really good and the prices much cheaper than Polaris and some of the other shops we looked at.  We dealt with Laura who was very helpful and just need to email when we want to arrange delivery in Sept when we go back.
Just looking for lights on the net now otherwise were having candles when we go back!

I am just back, had my aircon instaled by a company called PolarAir, Gary was very good, 3 units in lounge and the 2 bedrooms, works fine, and easily powerful enough for the apartments.  It was a lot less than Polaris.  No. is 0034966770749.

Got my lights from IKEA, and installed them myself, total cost about 70€

He (Ted) - forgot to tell you he got electrocuted twice in the process!!!!  (Just joking - I think)!  Anyway, before I went over I posted info on George the Sparky (Still don't know his surname) but he turned up as promised, fitted all the lights in approx 4 hours (both internal and external), he put up my curtain poles, blind, and fitted my shower screen.  A wee gem.  He charges €15 per hour.  I got the blind for the long glass window next to the door from Ikea.  It is 80cm x 250cm so fits perfectly and only costs €39.95.  A bargain.

ajw - so unfair - it was only once, and the burns are healing well!!  That said, if I had know I could get someone else to fit them at 15€ per hour think I would have spent the time by the pool!!!!!
