The endless rescue work of Angie McCready, on the Costa Blanca

Angie moved to the Southern Costa Blanca inland from Alicante 9 years ago from the UK. She hadn't realized the plight of dogs here until she arrived. She was shocked, outraged, and felt she needed to do something. She was soon bottle feeding puppies that had been found dumped in bins, picking up strays from the street, and finding them new homes. Many didn't even go any further than Angie's home... She's a confirmed failed fosterer on more than one occasion. At the last count she has 11 ranging from quite small dogs to a Spanish Mastiff who is the gentlest dog ever.

Could you find a place in your heart and home for Copper?
Sunday, August 10, 2014

From Angie.. "ELVIS, now Copper, was rescued a few days ago from Almeria killing station. He is simply adorable. No trouble whatsoever. Loves all the other doggies here, not interested in the cat, and loves getting kisses and cuddles. He is about 10 weeks old and I think will be medium sized. Could you find a place in your heart and home for him? He has had all his vaccinations apart from Rabies, but, as he's got kennel cough just now, we have to wait til he's better. Near Alicante".

7/8: Elvis renamed Copper

7/8: More of Copper

8/8: Cooper has kennel cough

8/8 : Cooper cools down in the pool

Please be aware that Libby and Angel are still also needing forever homes & are currently with Angie.

Please don't forget Libby in Alicante area
Tuesday, August 5, 2014

I posted about Libby here where I gave links to other posts about her & her sibling, Luke. Luke has his forever home, Libby still needs hers.

I have met Libby, she really is so gentle.

How long does Libby have to wait for her forever home? She has been fostered by Angie since she was 3 - 4 weeks old, and is now a year old.

She is the most loving affectionate sweet natured dog you could wish to meet. She loves a cuddle, gets on fantastic with other dogs and is cat friendly. Libby is very obedient and is such a good girl you hardly know shes here.

All her siblings found homes ages ago, so why doesn't anybody want Libby?

Although she has tested positive for Leish, she is only borderline and just needs 2 pills a day to keep it that way.

She has been spayed & vaccinated plus she has her passport, she's all ready for a new life.

Please consider Libby as YOUR pet.

Please contact Angie for further details, she's on email ... angie_mccready@hotmail.com

Friday, August 1, 2014

These adorable cuddle monsters, Hooch, Chester & Cujo, will be arriving at their furever home in Scotland any moment! All three of the 4 month old brothers are going to one fantastic home and a new wonderful life.

Angie has worked wonders with their socialising, they were so scared when they arrived at her home many weeks ago.

Have a wonderful life, boys? Here they are saying goodbye.
