Moving to Spain in October

Hi

Im moving over to Spain in October 2015 with my husband - we are in the process of buying a house in the El Galan area nr Villamartin and was wondering what sort of clubs (if any) there are so we can get to know people and socialise a bit.  We are both in our 50's and are fairly active.  I want to start cycling but need to practice (badly!).  I also like walking but was really looking to get our social life off the ground, quiz nights, cheese and wine nights  - maybe salsa classes etc. has anyone get any information or contacts?

We are both looking forward to (hopefully) many happy years in Spain!

I am am totally confused by you're post with regarding the area you have chosen to spend the rest of you're life in without any research in to that area, you are going to make a considerable investment by purchasing a property if you read any previously posted comments on the subject you are inquiring about the every post will advised you to

There are quite a lot of expat clubs in that area. I know there are a couple of cycling clubs. There are also several bars and restaurants very close to you.

You may be better asking for advice from one of the Torrevieja chat sites (there are quite a few if you Google) or San Miguel chatsite.

Good luck on your move.  Hopefully you'll meet some nice people and settle in quickly.
