FINAL TAX WHEN LEAVING SPAIN

in november last year I moved bacl to england permanently from

spain

can anyone advise what my tax situation would be as regards declaring

my assets in spain.

would I need to declare from jan to november 2014 in spain then declare from november

to april 2015 in england.

• any advice appreciated before I contact english tax office.

You were tax resident for the whole of 2014 even if you went to the UK in November

You became tax resident in the UK  from the date you moved back, so there will be a little overlap .

When you present your Spanish tax return any tax you have paid in UK  will be deducted 

If you need to do a 720 assets form  eg for proceeds of Spanish house sale appearing in your UK bank. the deadline is March 31 St!

What I am interested in is how to present your Spanish tax return from the UK, if you cannot do it yourself on line

not sure how we will do our spanish tax return for last year.

have to contact the solicitor/abogado who did our previous tax retrurns

for advice.

also we have  no spanish bank account now so will have to find out how to pay IF

any tax is due.

we have no proceeds from property sale.
