Lost luggage with Monarch

I've lost count of the number of times my baggage has failed to arrive. The first time when we finally got it it seemed to have circumnavigated the globe judging by all the stickers on it. BA were the worst when my son was visiting from the States one Christmas. It didn't arrive until after Christmas and BA staff were very rude and unhelpful. An outsize piece of bagged checked in with Monarch failed to arrive, but it was delivered to our address in Spain 2 days later, a bit battered but contents intact. So far, touch wood all lost baggage has finally arrived. In the US the lost baggage counter kindly gave me a 'comfort kit' to manage overnight!
